The Map Crew staff team is a dedicated group of players whose purpose is to control the overall quality of maps, and most importantly to give feedback to the map-making community.
Members of the Map Crew have the ability to protect maps from deletion, delete bad maps, and make maps permanent (perming) so that they show up in the game more frequently.
We are looking for dedicated members of the community with a strong understanding of the game and maps, who can look out for flaws in maps and ensure gameplay is enjoyable for the whole community!
Before considering applying for this position, there are several things that you should take note of:
- All applicants must speak fluent English in order to communicate with the rest of the team.
- The Map Crew is a staff position so members need to be aged 18 or over. However you can still apply if you are under the age of 18, and can join the anonymous Vote Crew role.
- Fluent in English

- Maturity is required from all members of the team.

Map Crew Application FAQ
I'm under 18, can I still apply?
Yes, but applicants under the age of 18 can only join the Vote Crew. Do not try to lie about your age, as you will have to prove it with formal ID.
Must I speak English?
Yes, and the application form must be submitted in English - any applications submitted in another language won't be considered. Every individual on the team must speak fluent English in order to communicate freely with the other members. Speaking another language too is good, but not required.
Must I be a map maker or be familiar with the Map Editor?
No. While making maps is a useful trait, the main skill you need is to be able to review other people's maps with detail and know what makes good gameplay.
Can I conceal any information about myself?
Please answer every question directly and honestly for best results. All applications are secure, and there is nothing you should feel the need to hide.
Can I apply without reviewing maps or filling out some fields?
You must fill out all required fields in the areas you're interested in. This includes the "general questions" section, and one or more of the rotation, bootcamp, survivor, and defilante categories.
How much detail should I put into my reviews?
Every map review in the application should have at least four main points: good things about the map, bad things about the map, what improvements you'd recommend the map maker make, and which perm category this map should be.
What perm types can be recommended in the reviews?
You may recommend a map to be any perm category in your reviews, including P22/P44 if you don't think a map is suitable for rotation.
What will happen after I apply?
You'll receive a forum PM once a decision has been taken regarding your application. This process may take a few days and up to a few weeks.
